Cone Filter - Witches Hat
Norman Filter Company designs and manufactures cone/witches hat filters to the specific characteristics of any piping system. NFC's cone filters utilize a proprietary support structure, featuring all TIG welded construction for superior durability. NFC designs cone filter solutions for existing pipeline applications using all-welded pleated micronic mesh for capturing particulate in high flow applications while maintaining minimal pressure differential. Norman's Cone Filters feature an internal/external core structure which is ideal for forward and reverse flow applications.
NFC Cone Filters are manufactured with a drop-in design which alleviates the need for pressure vessels or custom housings. Norman cone filters can also be attached to Grayloc sealing rings/orifices or ANSI/ASME 16.5 flange gaskets.
Increased dirt-holding over t-type filters, the Norman Cone Filter ensures less frequent changes, over longer periods reducing system downtime. The small footprint of the cone filter eliminates the need for the bowl clearance of t-type filters, therefore adding filters for all those hard to reach locations.
